The Palace Diner is owned and operated by the Vanikiotis family
since 1981. The building was erected in 1979 by previous owners
and did business under the name "The Parthenon."

The Vanikiotis family: Father Nick and Mother Maria
sons Teddy, Peter and Dino, immigrated from Skoteini, Greece, in 1974.
They purchased The Palace in 1981 and went to their respective jobs:
Nick was head chef until he retired in 1995. Maria worked her
magic on the salad bar until she too retired in 1995. (She still pops in on occasion to keep an eye on things!) Teddy managed the floor while Peter baked all the pies, cakes and pastries in The Palace's downstairs bakery.
Dino grew up in the business, helping out bussing tables, taking cash
until he headed off to the Culinary Institute, where he graduated in 1988.

Always with an attitude of keeping things fresh and interesting,
The Palace has undergone several renovations during the 20 years
its doors have been open. The great food and superior service,
however, has remained constant and is the trademark
of a Vanikiotis establishment.
